As the new Director you will be responsible for developing and delivering a new estates strategy that creates a high-quality built environment that supports staff and students to the highest standards.

You will manage a broad range of services that includes all hard and soft facilities and the commercial exploitation of the University’s capital assets. Combining strategic and operational management you will continue the drive to provide modern, flexible and customer focused professional services that meets the ever changing needs of the University’s stakeholders.

Educated to degree level and possessing a relevant post-graduate or professional qualification you will demonstrate significant senior management experience of leading equivalent services in large and complex organisations.

Not necessarily from a higher education background, you will have an understanding and empathy with the university sector. You will also have extensive experience of working in complex customer service based organisations and be familiar with working with a broad range of stakeholders.

Commercially aware with formidable leadership & interpersonal abilities you will be experienced in managing change and driving up standards to the highest levels.
