About the Client:


My client is leading Leisure operator with a significant opening program and leisure portfolio.


As a result of continued growth and expansion they require a Quantity Surveyor to join its small; professional property team from a head office in Yorkshire.








My client requires a quantity / cost surveyor to work as part of a highly skilled and motivated project-focused team to a deliver a challenging rapid roll out program of leisure projects.


You will also have experience of a wide variety of procurement routes and construction methodologies as well as a strong commercial acumen and a technical knowledge base.




Roles & Responsibilities:

- Preparation of Commercial documentation and agreements
- Cost and Value management
- Preparation, maintenance and agreement of Project accounts
- Provision of commercial and financial reporting information
- Ensure compliance with Contractor standards and procedures in respect of Commercial activities
- Control of project documentation


- Ensure the capital program is executed effectively within budgets whilst seeking maximum value for money and the delivery of a first class service.




Essential Key Skill Requirements




Strong commercial acumen and good negotiation skills.


Experience of working in a commercial environment and creating commercial documents, combined with an understanding of relevant legal documentation.


Strong numerical skills with the ability to analyse complex information and present your findings clearly.


Good process management and development skills.


Strong communication and people management skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.




With a strong customer-led commercial approach, you will be confident dealing with a wide range of people, possess excellent communication skills, a cool head and have the ability to drive forward projects.
